Karen is a senior accountant within our NSW team, specialising in individual and small business taxation.
With a passion for assisting individuals with their annual tax returns and helping small businesses meet their ongoing accounting obligations, Karen is dedicated to ensuring her clients remain compliant and financially organised. She has a unique ability to bring clients’ financial records up to date and ensure they meet all necessary requirements.
With 18 years of experience in the accounting field, Karen’s career has evolved from 14 years in private practice, to a focus on tax accounting in local accounting businesses. This broad experience has provided her with a deep understanding of the nuances involved in running a business, enabling her to effectively support small business clients in managing their accounting and tax needs.
Karen holds an Advanced Diploma of Accounting, Graduate Certificate in Public Accounting, and a Master of Commerce (Public Accounting- tax practitioner major). Karen is also a member of the Institute of Public Accountants.
Nick entered into full time work with us in 2015 and submerged himself into learning everything there is to know about accounting processes. Nick’s role is to look after our clients bookkeeping needs, assist the accountants with their administration needs and ensure the office operates efficiently and smoothly.
Nick’s comprehensive knowledge of accounting systems such as Xero and Quickbooks is like no other, which is a valuable asset to our Accountants and our clients. Nick has a Certificate III in Financial Services and Certificate IV in Accounting. Nick is also a Certified Xero Adviser, Certified Xero Payroll Advisor and a Certified Quickbooks Advisor.
